Do you want to free up your senior year schedule? If you attend a traditional school, you can lighten your senior year load by completing Economics and/or U.S. Government in summer school.
Do you just want to get ahead? Do it in summer school.
Did you”barely pass” Algebra I, and you need a deeper understanding so you can do well in future math courses? Repeat the course in summer school. Sometimes, students “audit” a summer course in order to have a good understanding before taking the course for credit in the fall.
There are many reasons that summer school makes sense for a student, and Willow Bend Academy can help. Whether you attend our Plano or Lewisville campus location or opt for the home study program, we have the courses you need and the teachers to help you succeed. Because Willow Bend Academy is fully accredited, summer school coursework is transferrable to other schools.
At Willow Bend Academy there are no group lecture classes. Our teachers work individually with the students. Summer school sessions meet for four hours each day Monday through Thursday for three weeks.
It is expected that a student can complete one semester of one course per summer session. That, of course depends upon the student applying him/herself. Expect homework!
