Summer School 2014 in Plano, TX

Sometimes students in high school or middle/junior high school need to catch up or get ahead academically to stay on track. Summer school is often a good way to do so. At Willow Bend Academy, summer school meets for four hours each day for twelve days. Due to the accelerated pace of summer school programs, students should expect to complete daily homework in addition to on-campus work. In most cases, students can complete one semester course per summer school session, though some of the advanced Science/Math courses cover more material and often require two (2) sessions to complete.

At Willow Bend Academy there are no group lecture classes. Certified teachers provide assistance and encouragement to students as they work independently of each other. The semester grade is based on the average of all unit exams, and each exam must be passed with a grade of 70 or better before moving on to the next assignment.

The 2014 Plano campus summer school program:

• June 16 – July 1 (first session)
• July 7 – July 22 (second session)
• Monday through Friday
• Morning sessions 8:15 am – 12:15 pm
• Afternoon sessions 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

The 2014 Lewisville campus summer school program:

• June 16 – July 3 (first session)
• July 7 – July 24 (second session)
• Monday through Thursday, closed Friday
• Morning session 8:30 am – 12:30 pm
• No afternoon session
