There is no minimum TOEFL score required for International students.  English assistance is offered in all subjects. Our teachers assess English proficiency, then offer assistance as needed. Students may begin class anytime during the school year.  It is not necessary to wait until August or January to begin.

Willow Bend Academy is authorized to issue a Certificate of Eligibility Form (I-20), so students may obtain the F-1 Visa.  Once the F-1 visa has been granted, students may remain in the USA as long as they are a full time student – whether in secondary school or college.

In most schools, English proficiency is required in order to understand lectures. At Willow Bend Academy, there are no group lectures.  The teachers work face to face with each student. There are both regular teachers and English Language support teachers who love to see students be successful.

At Willow Bend Academy, international students who struggle with English will focus first on developing their language skills. This may require additional time. Beginning with the 2016-2017 school year, we require that International students enroll for our full day program.  This program allows student to improve their English skills at a much faster pace and will better prepare them for college lecture classes. Both the regular teachers and the English Language support teachers are trained to ensure that the course material and assignments are understood by the students. If your student already has an F-1 Visa through another school, it can be transferred to Willow Bend Academy.

Colleges and Universities

TOEFL test is generally not required for college admission to graduates of Willow Bend Academy.  We will administer the TOEFL Junior to all International Students at least once each year.  This allows us to document progress and will allow the student to make better college decisions.

International student graduates of Willow Bend Academy have continued their education at local colleges including Collin College and Richland College and at major universities including Delaware State University, Florida International University, Ohio State University and University of Texas locations at Arlington, Austin and Dallas.

2015-2016 school year tuition and fees ( $18600 for full day schedule) includes:

$14800 Annual On-Campus Tuition (Includes intensive English classes.)

$250 Annual Technology Fee

$2500 Annual International Student Fee ( English assistance with academic studies.)

Total = $18,600 (Full year payment due upon arrival)
