Working at Willow Bend Academy is more than simply a job. It is a Christian ministry.  So, although Willow Bend Academy has no ties to any church or denomination,  the teachers and staff are all professing Christians who practice Christian principles in their lives both at school and in the community.

Academically, teachers must have earned at least a bachelors degree. Our model of teaching limits the number of students per teacher to eight (8), but teachers are NOT specialists in any one particular subject.  They are generalists, with some teachers having particular areas of additional expertise and may become “go to” teachers. If a student’s teacher is not able to help with a given subject, the student will be sent to another teacher who is able to help.

Administrative support personnel need to have proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets.

Willow Bend Academy is a safe place both physically and emotionally.  All employees participate in creating and maintaining this environment.
