Single Course Enrollment
Willow Bend Academy admits students without regard to race, religion or gender. As a result we have students of many faiths including Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, and those of no faith at all.
However, all our employees are professing Christians. This is the first requirement for employment at Willow Bend Academy. We openly share our faith with our students, but do not pressure them to convert from another faith to Christianity.
Our method of individualized mastery learning calls for teachers who are proficient in multiple disciplines at multiple grade levels. Certification in multiple disciplines is not required. Teachers do not prepare lesson plans and make presentations to groups of students because all teaching is done on an individual basis. Teachers may have up to eight students for a four hour class day. Full time teachers have a morning group and an afternoon group.
